The Pixar Story: Story about Pixar's development, showcases all the struggles it went through. Has interviews with Steve Jobs and a bunch of others. You really appreciate Pixar all the more after watching this. The struggles they went through financially, personally and emotionally really resonate here.
Between the Folds: Awesome origami documentary that looks at its applications to advanced mathematics, spacecraft design, art, etc. Artistic and inspiring.
Sherlock: Awesome BBC series that drew over 8 million viewers in Britain. Set in modern-day London, with taxis instead of hansom cabs, text messages instead of telegrams, and some awesome adaptations of famous stories. Season 1 is on Netflix, Season 2 should be up around May or later (or at least on TV in the U.S. by that point). Each episode is 1 hr and a half long. Not many Americans know about this series, and they are really missing out. This series is witty, action-packed, and has an awesome plot. I should mention that the Doctor Who creators made this series (Gatiss, Moffat).
Man From Nowhere: Korean revenge film with accurate subtitles. This one was so popular it got onto Hulu as well. It's about a drug deal gone wrong, kidnapping, a Chinese organ-trafficking ring, and there is plenty of blood, gunfighting, intrigue, and awesome cinematography, with an emotional backstory that slowly gets revealed.
